We are officially past the half-way mark for the second semester at North!

As the end of the school year rolls around our seniors at North High School are starting to make the hard choice of what they will being doing after graduation. College visit and applications have consumed much of their time! This week that have been diligently working on there current classes, graduation requirements and scholarships applications!

This month students are hearing back from Universities, many scholarships and receiving their financial aid packages. Despite this being a very exciting time of year it is also very stressful! Senior Elesa Vigil knows this first hand. Elesa recently found out that she has been accepted to The University of Colorado at Boulder along with a hefty scholarship. She thought her decision for school would be an easy one until she found out that she has also been accepted to the The University of Denver along with a scholarship that would make the price of DU and CU the same for her. Now she has to make an incredibly difficult choice between these amazing schools.

As these deadlines come and go the seniors keep pushing forward and plan for graduation and beyond!

Who Am i???

This week we are wrapping up the identity mask project that has been apart of a larger unit that has helped student identity and articulate the things that make up one's identity. We are very impressed with the creativity that students have brought to the table this year with this project. Also, this week marks the halfway point for the semester, meaning midterms and conferences are taking place this week. Mentors and mentees are working extremely hard on their academics to ensure that they all do well on midterms.
